Robert Walker – Chief of Department/Executive Director

Rob Walker has been an EMT since 1988 and is a nationally registered paramedic, board-certified community paramedic, and certified healthcare simulation educator. He holds a Bachelor of Science in EMS Administration from Columbia Southern University and a Master’s in Education Learning Technology from Western Governors University. He is the former Education Specialist for the Emergency Health Services Federation (EHSF), where he managed accreditation processes for EMS educational institutes and served as a liaison to them. As the Clinical Course Coordinator for the EHSF Education Institute, he oversaw the development and delivery of initial EMS certification programs as part of the Rural EMS Education Initiative. Additionally, Rob is a contract instructor with the USFA/National Fire Academy for EMS management and leadership programs. He lives in Manheim Township with his wife, Tanis, his daughter, Katie, and two (spoiled) dogs.
 


 Zac Hartmann – Deputy Chief of Operations

Zac Hartmann has been serving in EMS since 2007, earning his EMT certification from HACC and completing Paramedic School in 2009 at the Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences, now known as St. Joseph’s University, Lancaster Campus. His career began full-time in 2010 at Lancaster EMS, where he was promoted to Lieutenant and later Captain. After transitioning to roles in Chester and Montgomery Counties, Zac returned to South Central Pennsylvania in 2021, joining Community Lifeteam in Adams County as a Captain, and was promoted to Assistant Chief of the York Division in 2022. Since 2023, Zac has been part of Warwick Community Ambulance and officially began his full-time role in August. He lives in Lititz with his two children, Madi and Lincoln, his girlfriend Claire, and their dog Milo. In his free time, Zac enjoys cooking, smoking meats, and spending time with his family.
 


Scott Myers – Lieutenant

Scott Myers is a Lieutenant and paramedic at Warwick Community Ambulance. He began his EMS career in 2005 in Pittsburgh as an EMT and earned his paramedic certification in 2015 in Lancaster County. Scott joined Warwick in 2023 and is dedicated to serving the local community. Alongside his work as a paramedic, Scott oversees the agency’s education programs, including continuing education for current staff and the education institute that delivers EMR, EMT, and Advanced EMT certification courses. He lives in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with his wife, Stephanie, and their four children. Scott is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in EMS Administration with a focus on EMS education from Columbia Southern University. Outside of work, Scott is an active youth sports coach and is closely involved in his children’s athletic activities.

 
 

Dr. Christine Dang – Medical Director

Dr. Dang was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Hempfield High School and earned her undergraduate degree in biology with minors in French and Mathematics from Villanova University.  She went to Jefferson Medical College, where she met her husband, Dr. David Vaughn.  She completed her emergency medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University.  She returned to Lancaster to practice in 2008, working at Lancaster Regional Medical Center and Heart of Lancaster Medical Center.  She continues to work as the medical director at UPMC Lititz.  She has two children who attend schools in the Manheim Township School District. Both of her children love music, and both sing and play piano.  She sometimes will play duets with them on the piano.  She loves the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, but also enjoys watching her son play club sports and her daughter dance with Dance Dynamix.  She enjoys cooking (and eating), hiking, and traveling in her free time.
