Warwick Community Ambulance is dedicated to keeping families safe through community outreach programs focused on CPR, first aid, and pediatric safety. These initiatives provide hands-on training that prepares community members to respond to emergencies with confidence. From teaching lifesaving CPR skills to offering practical first aid education,  our programs empower parents, caregivers, and community members to act quickly when every second matters.

A major part of our outreach is pediatric safety. We host regular child safety seat checks, where trained Child Passenger Safety Technicians ensure that car seats are installed correctly and safely.

These events not only improve child passenger safety but also give parents the opportunity to ask questions and learn best practices tailored to their child’s age and size. Beyond seat checks, we also provide specialized education for new parents and caregivers, covering infant CPR, choking response, and other vital skills that promote confidence and preparedness at home.

These programs are led by Colleen Bruckno, an Advanced EMT and Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST). Colleen heads up our pediatric safety efforts and is available to help guide families through these important resources. To learn more or schedule a session, contact Colleen at 717-626-1200 ext. 107.
