2026 EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) Course
Warwick EMS is offering an Emergency Medical Responder class from February 12 to April 23, 2026. This class meets on Thursday nights at 1800.
This blended program is designed for individuals who want to begin a path in emergency services or support their local fire or rescue organization.
The EMR curriculum introduces the fundamentals of prehospital care, focusing on scene safety, patient assessment, CPR and airway support, bleeding control, medical and trauma emergencies, and the essential lifesaving skills needed to respond effectively until an ambulance arrives.
This course combines online learning with scheduled in-person skills labs at Warwick EMS in Lititz. Students will work through guided online modules each week, then apply those lessons during hands-on labs using realistic scenarios, equipment, and simulation. The program totals approximately 80 hours and provides a structured and supportive environment for new responders to build confidence and competence.
Tuition is $350 and includes all instruction, textbook, lab activities, and test preparation. Uniforms and testing fees are not included.
Participants must be at least 16 years old and meet all clearance and immunization requirements. Graduates of this program meet Pennsylvania standards for EMR certification and are eligible to take the National Registry exam.
